Nothing -- end of full week of no running or exercise of any kind, zilch. Extremely difficult to stomach this as the weather is becoming very fall-like and the early mornings are calling me to get out there just before dawn. Anyway, have noticed some improvement (to be expected with no movement!) and am not taking any ibuprofen to mask pain. Will continue light stretching and very light core work. Anticipate walking 30-60 minutes each morning this week and possibly jogging a little. If I can get back to consistent running by Nov. 1st that would be okay, I'd find it acceptable to have this 5+ weeks of down time if I can get back to it by then. If it doesn't work I'll have to determine who I should go to for help in Nov.

Rest. Trying to do nothing for a week, other than light stretching and very, very conservative (minimal) core work.

Day off. Still no improvement and if anything the hip/groin problem is worse. I think cycling, while not painful during the activity, is contributing to this and not good so I'm going to try at least a few days of complete rest. Bummer!
